Please join us in welcoming Congressman Paul Tonko to our City! The Congressman’s office will deliver books from the Library of Congress to the Mechanicville Library Tuesday, May 29th at 4 PM.
The Mechanicville Library is excited to work with Congressman Tonko to promote literacy and bring attention to the availability of books through the Library of Congress Surplus Books Program. The Congressman will be talking about the program, taking questions, as well as taking a tour of the library.
This visit is open to the public and we encourage patrons of all ages to attend. We are grateful to be the recipients of this of this program, which will add an additional 32 books (valued at $740) to our collection.
All programs are FREE and open to the public unless otherwise noted.
Laurie will be offering 1:1 assistance to adults who need help using computers. Limited half-hour sessions will be available each Tuesday and registration is required.
Give us a call if you need a little help!
