The Mechanicville District Public Library is starting a series of articles entitled Staff Standouts. Our first standout is Library Manager, Michelle Duell.
Michelle’s co-workers here at the Library would describe her as dedicated, confident, encouraging, supportive, and someone to rely on in a time of crisis. She always goes out of her way to make certain a project gets done. Michelle manages the library with diligence and efficiency. Her leadership has kept programming and patron services up to all our high standards. She is a great Community Representative for the library.
Here are a few words from Michelle;
Hello to All! Many of you already know me, but for those of you who do not, let me introduce myself, my name is Michelle Duell and I am the Library Manager for the Mechanicville District Public Library. I have worked for the Library for the past eight years. I started at the Library as a part-time clerk, did a short stint performing story time and now currently work full-time as the Library Manager. I recently completed my Associates Degree in Accounting from theUniversity of Phoenix. I am married with a three-year-old son named Caden, my family and I reside in the City of Mechanicville. Some of my outside interests are restoring classic cars, hiking, camping, fishing and spending time with friends and family. I have been involved in the organization of Duck Day on the Docks and currently am a Board Member on the Mechanicville Area Community Service Center.
The library has so much to offer the residents of Mechanicville, not only are the books great, but we have movies, audio books, internet, free programs and so much more. So thank you for your time and stop in at the Library to see me.
Kudos to Michelle. Great Job
