Museum Passes:

Museum Passes are available to check out with your Library Card for a 3 day loan.

A special thank you to the Friends of the Mechanicville Library for making these passes available to the children in the Mechanicville School District Community.

Only Mechanicville School District Patrons are eligible to borrow these passes. Passes include free or greatly reduced admission. 

 

The Children’s Museum of Saratoga Pass is valid through 2/28/2025 and provides free entry for one adult and one child within the Mechanicville City School District.

 

The Empire Pass is valid through 12/31/24 and provides unlimited day-use vehicle entry to most facilities operated by New York State Parks and the State Dept. of Environmental Conservation including forests, beaches, trails and more.  

 

The Wild Center Copay Discovery Family Pass is valid through 3/31/2024. There are two available. The Mechanicville Library’s Pass allows discounted admission for two adults ($10/each) and free entry for four children ages 5-17.  Children ages 4 and under are always free. 

 

Through Museums for All, those receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits) can gain free or reduced admission to more than 1,200 museums throughout the United States simply by presenting their EBT card and a photo ID. Search by museum name or state to find a participating museum.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Iroquois Indian Museum Pass is valid until December 1, 2023 and provides free entry to the Museum and Nature Trail to 2 Adults and up to 5 Children.

USS Slater Pass is valid  through November 26, 2023 and provides free admission a guided tour of the USS Slater, and access to the Collections Space for 2 Adults and 2 Children.

 

 

Culture Pass is a program for cardholding patrons 13 and older of Brooklyn Public Library, New York Public Library and Queens Public Library. Using their library card, New Yorkers can reserve a pass and get free admission to dozens of NYC cultural institutions, including museums, historical societies, heritage centers, public gardens and more. To apply for a New York Public Library card, you must be a resident of New York State.
