Gmail Tips & Tricks: Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 9:30am
In this hands-on session, we’ll go beyond sending and receiving email with Gmail! You will practice important features like spellcheck, formatting emails, searching your inbox, adding a signature, and attaching files. You’ll also receive a step-by-step handout so that you can practice using these features on your own after the session. Please note that this session will not go over how to sign up for a Gmail address. You may stop in at any time and our staff will guide you in creating one.
Smartphone Photography: Thursday, October 5, 2023 at 9:30am
This class explores the basics of using your smartphone’s digital camera. You will learn how to take pictures, where they are stored on your device, and how to delete them. You will also go over tips for taking selfies, recording videos, and sharing your photos!
Google Photos Workshop: Thursday, October 19th at 9:30am
Google Photos is one of the most popular photo sharing and cloud storage platforms. This hands-on workshop explores some of the basic features of the Google Photos app and will walk you through the steps of backing up your photos on your smartphone or mobile device to Google Photos. You’ll also learn how to create an album and share it.
Please note you must have a Gmail address for this hands-on workshop. Bring your Gmail username and password and be ready to sign in during the workshop. You may stop in at any time and our staff will guide you in creating one.

None. These courses are designed for people who have never used a computer or have very little experience and want a solid introduction.
