Fishing Poles are now available for Mechanicville City Residents aged 18+. Library Card is required and must be in good standing.
State licensing requirements and regulations DO apply, so consult your local licensing office for more information.
Free/reduced fee annual fishing licenses are available from the DEC for qualifying individuals.

Reserve a Meeting Room
Our Ellsworth room is available for reservation when the room is not being used for programming.
To make a reservation, users must be:
- – 21 years or older
- – A resident of Mechanicville City School District
- – A Mechanicville District Public Library card holder in good standing

Library Card Policies
We are a member of the Southern Adirondack Library System and Mohawk Valley Library System.
Out of district residents are welcome to a Mechanicville District Library card as well. View your district.
Materials from the Southern Adirondack Library System as well as the Mohawk Valley Library System will be available to users for pick up at the Mechanicville Library with this card. Please see a clerk for assistance.
