The history of the City of Mechanicville will be brought back to life as we walk through the beautiful and historic Hudson View Cemetery known as the resting place of civil war hero Elmer Ellsworth. Local history buffs Tom Salvador and Bob Murphy will take us to the grave sites of Mechanicville residents to tell stories of the glory days of the city during the industrial age which became home to thousands of first-generation Americans working in the mills. Parking is available at the entrance to the cemetery on South Street. Registration required. Donations appreciated.
